Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.13% in March 28–Monday

MOSCOW, Apr 5 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation accelerated to 0.13% from March 28 through Monday from 0.05% in the previous week, and inflation has increased to 1.6% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.

The prices for fruit and vegetables increased by the average of 1.3%. The prices for cucumbers grew by 6%, for tomatoes 0.7%, for apples 0.6%, bananas 0.5%. At the same time, prices for onions decreased by 1%, beets 0.8%, potatoes 0.7%, carrots 0.3%.

The prices for buckwheat went down by 0.68%, for tea 0.47%, for pork 0.43%. The baby formula prices increased 0.5% on average, the vegetable preserves for children ones 0.45%, the rice ones 0.43%.

The gasoline prices grew by 0.02%, and diesel fuel prices fell by 0.05%.
